THE BRIEF

For my final project at UAL's Postgraduate Certificate in Design for Visual Communication, I explored a subject close to my own story: how dance music and rave culture have shaped London's cultural fabric — tracing its journey from underground origins to the city's living, breathing identity today.

THE BRIEF

The Dore is an event and floral design studio with a deeply personal brand story, a signature visual identity, and a loyal creative spirit — but their digital home wasn't keeping up. The existing website lacked responsiveness, functionality, and imagery that reflected the warmth and intentionality they bring to every event they design.

THE WORK

I combined deep research with a bold visual narrative — using screen-printing, risograph, and digital printing to create a publication that feels as tactile and alive as the culture it documents. Bound with a perfect spine, rough around the edges, and all the better for it.

THE WORK

I approached this as a full digital revival — not just a visual refresh, but a rebuild rooted in story, usability, and feel. The Dore's brand palette (earthy terracottas, sage greens, warm neutrals) and its signature crest logo gave me rich material to work with. The goal was to let that identity breathe — elevated and editorial, but never cold.

THE RESULT

A visually rich editorial piece merging cultural documentation with experimental print craft. Inside, the design channels the sensory blur of a night out — shadowy corners, pulsing lights, a crowd moving as one. A publication that doesn't describe the dance floor. It makes you feel it.

THE RESULT

A digital space that finally holds the weight of The Dore's story. Warm, intentional, and expressive — with the functionality to match. A site that doesn't just show what they do, but makes visitors feel the care behind it before they've even booked a call. Every detail was designed to feel personal. The kind of site you linger on, not scroll past.

Whether it's warm and grounded or bold and electric — if you're creating something worth feeling, I'd love to help shape it. Tell me what you're building.
