THE BRIEF

Make It Home Bay Area keeps quality furniture out of landfills and puts it into the homes of families in need — and they were ready to grow. To secure funding for a larger warehouse and expand their reach, they launched a Capital Campaign and needed a booklet that could carry the full weight of that vision.

THE BRIEF

The Dore is an event and floral design studio with a deeply personal brand story, a signature visual identity, and a loyal creative spirit — but their digital home wasn't keeping up. The existing website lacked responsiveness, functionality, and imagery that reflected the warmth and intentionality they bring to every event they design.

THE WORK

With their copy in hand, I led the full visual execution — layout, typography, image direction, and design — navigating multiple stakeholders and rounds of feedback while keeping the piece cohesive and rooted in their mission throughout.

THE WORK

I approached this as a full digital revival — not just a visual refresh, but a rebuild rooted in story, usability, and feel. The Dore's brand palette (earthy terracottas, sage greens, warm neutrals) and its signature crest logo gave me rich material to work with. The goal was to let that identity breathe — elevated and editorial, but never cold.

THE RESULT

A polished, visually engaging booklet that pairs compelling storytelling with thoughtful, accessible design. A piece that doesn't just inform — it inspires. Built to move donors and help Make It Home take their next meaningful step forward.

THE RESULT

A digital space that finally holds the weight of The Dore's story. Warm, intentional, and expressive — with the functionality to match. A site that doesn't just show what they do, but makes visitors feel the care behind it before they've even booked a call. Every detail was designed to feel personal. The kind of site you linger on, not scroll past.

Whether it's warm and grounded or bold and electric — if you're creating something worth feeling, I'd love to help shape it. Tell me what you're building.
